  • Indirectly or directly talking with anyone who has been on event waters during off-limits period

  • Attempts to bypass restrictions
  • Gains knowledge or positioning advantage

Will be treated as a violation, even if not explicitly listed.

5. No Loophole Policy

The absence of a specific example does NOT permit action.

Any behavior that falls within the spirit of Off-Limits restriction may be enforced as a violation.

  • Before competition
  • During competition

Each team is responsible for protecting its assigned seal or locking device.

If a seal or locking device is accidentally damaged, the team must immediately:

  • Stop fishing
  • Notify the Tournament Director
  • Leave the equipment untouched until instructed by an official
Fishing may not resume until the Tournament Director authorizes it.

A broken, missing, altered or mismatched seal that was not immediately reported will result in DISQUALIFICATION.

Failure to disclose equipment: Disqualification.
Intentional tampering or false information: Disqualification + suspension.
Broken or missing seal without immediate notification: Disqualification.
Refusal of inspection, observer, video review or polygraph: Disqualification.

6. Final Authority

All contestants agree to submit to equipment inspections, video review, observer verification and polygraph examination when requested.
